Crest View Manor has a rich history of care and compassion. Over 60 years ago, Pauline McFeron, Tyson Cook’s paternal great-grandmother, founded the facility. She purchased the home from the Scripps family and transformed it into a retirement home for single, elderly women.

This community is a unique and charming Assisted Living Facility with a rich history. It originally served as a home for one of the Scripps family’s daughters. Over the years, they expanded the property to welcome more residents, but it has kept its warm, close-knit, and home-like atmosphere. Every corner of Crest View Manor reflects its original character and charm. The Cook family takes great pride in maintaining this special space for our residents and staff. They strive to create an environment where everyone feels at home, cared for, and part of our extended family. The food is exceptional, with plenty of variety to keep things exciting. They rotate our menus every six weeks and often add special meals. Super Bowl Pizza Parties, BBQs, and Ice Cream Socials are just some of the fun events they host. Great food and great times go hand in hand.

Activities at Crest View Manor

They keep the residents active and engaged with fun activities. Weekly Bingo, crosswords, and crafts are always on the schedule. Sometimes, they even get a little adventurous with patio bowling (safely, of course). Residents love the mini horse visits, and families are always welcome to join the fun.

Holidays are extra special. The San Diego Choral Club performs, there are Super Bowl parties, create Halloween crafts, and much more. Some residents have even discovered a love for succulent gardening. There’s always something exciting happening!
